Last year, Casey coached Clark Dean to a gold medal World Championship in the men’s single sculls at the 2017 World Rowing Junior Championships held in Trakai, Lithuania. It was the first time in 50 years that the United States had won the event. Casey’s love for the sport has taken him to many places around the world. He is well known for his talent as a coach and for several years shared that expertise by presenting at numerous rowing conventions. There are several present and former Prince William County coaches that have benefited from Casey’s coaching style.
